Thinking of Joining?

There is a place for YOU in RESNA! Members include practitioners, clinicians, educators, researchers, manufacturers and suppliers, consumers, and policy and advocacy experts. RESNA's diverse, trans-disciplinary membership is its greatest strength. Networking, information sharing, mentoring, mutual support, volunteerism, and the joy of discovery are hallmarks of the RESNA member experience.

RESNA members come together to advance our knowledge and further the science of AT, build connections with others in the field, impact the future of AT funding and legislation, and enhance and promote our profession. Members participate in the development of Technical Standards for equipment, guidelines for knowledge and skills training, and position papers on recommending and funding specific technologies. RESNA grant-based activities include supporting the National Assistive Technology Technical Assistance Partnership (NATTAP).

RESNA membership provides opportunities for education, dissemination, and interaction through venues such as Special Interest Groups, Professional Specialty Groups, the RESNA Annual Conference, and the Assistive Technology Journal. Web-based resources will include discussion forums, document galleries, wikis, and social networking tools.

Manufacturers and Suppliers: solicit input on unmet market needs, introduce and promote products, and get expert feedback and suggestions from practitioners while joining with others to address funding and market-related issues.

Policy and Advocacy Experts: track legislative and reimbursement policy issues, help develop position papers, and be part of RESNA's efforts to support policy and funding initiatives and collaboration between stakeholders.
