RESNA as an Authorized IACET CEU provider

Thank you for considering using RESNA to award Continuing Education Units for your local, state or regional conference or workshop.

RESNA has been approved as a certified provider of continuing education and training programs by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Granting CEUs requires that certain criteria and guidelines be met. RESNA's CEU co-sponsorship application process meets all IACET guidelines. RESNA is an excellent choice to provide CEUs for your workshop or conference.

RESNA maintains a secure database with transcripts of CEU credit for each participant. The transcript provides a detailed account of participant and workshop information and includes the total number of CEUs awarded, the title of the session(s), date, location, and specific information required for renewal of certification through RESNA. CEU transcripts can also be useful to professionals in other related disciplines.

To be considered for certification the course material must be related to provision of assistive technology to persons with disabilities. Acceptable subject areas for assistive technology continuing education include professional ethics, clinical education, professional training, clinical practice, clinical research, clinical management, clinical science, public policy, funding and reimbursement. The fact that the content of a course is basic or elementary does not necessarily mean that it cannot enhance the knowledge and performance of an individual.
