graph shows the typing speed over a clinical trial period of the combination
of on-screen keyboard and headpointer versus Morse Code input. The on-screen
keyboard trial sows a maximum speed of seven words per minute at the third trial,
and a “mastery level” speed slightly above 6 words per minute. The Morse code
trials show an on-going upward trend through 10 trials, at the end of which the
gains were small enough to qualify as mastery, but with a continued upward trend.
At this point, the subject's typing speed was very slightly above 6 words per
minute.
