line graph shows the typing speeds by trials for a Morse experienced subject
from the study. The two lines each begin at about 2 2/3 words per minute, and
show a fairly consistent upward trend (at about the same rate) until the 7 th
trial. At this point, the typing speed with the on-screen keyboard flattened
out, and met the standards for mastery after 13 trials, at about 4.5 words per
minute. The Morse code line continues its upward trend through 15 trials. At
trials 13 – 15, while there is still an upward trend, the data meets the standard
for mastery, with a typing speed of about 5.5 words per minute.
