The popular two-day course “Fundamentals in Assistive Technology” will be offered in two locations this fall, first in Fort Worth, TX on September 6-7, and next at the Medtrade Conference in Atlanta, GA on October 18-19.
The Fundamentals course provides interested individuals with an overview of numerous areas of assistive technology, and is designed to broaden the knowledge of AT providers. Multiple case studies are used to illustrate applications of principles and theories in assistive technology provision. Course details are as follows:
- September 6 - 7, 2012 with instructors Peggy Barker, MS, ATP and Michelle L. Lange, OTR, ABDA, ATP at Education Service Center Region IX, 3001 North Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76106
- October 18-19, 2012 with instructors Glen Ashlock, MS, ATP and Barbara Crane, MA, PT, ATP at the Medtrade Conference, Georgia World Congress Center, 285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30313
Registration fees are $350 for RESNA members, $465 for non-members, and $315 for students.
