We need your help! The RESNA Professional Standards Board and Certification Department will be conducting a job analysis as part of ongoing maintenance for the ATP certification. We are currently recruiting Assistive Technology practitioners to join a task force to support this activity.
Task force members will help identify the content of a job in terms of activities involved, attributes needed to perform the work, and major job requirements. Because the task force needs to reflect the diversity and range of assistive technology, we are specifically looking for:
- 3 AAC specialists
- 1 Rehab engineer
- 1 Hearing specialist
- 1 Vision specialist
- 1 UDL expert
Assistive technology practitioners from other areas are also invited to submit. Task force members must also reflect the diversity of the profession (e.g., work setting, size of facility or company, geography, educational and experiential background, etc.). Please note that all task force members will be required to sign nondisclosure and conflict of interest statements.
If you are interested, please respond with your qualifications (CV or résumé) to Eric Nepomuceno, Certification & Education Manager, at enepomuceno@resna.org as soon as possible. Thank you in advance – we look forward to your participation!
