A new podcast about assistive technology research and innovation from an engineering perspective, “Gears of Progress,” will launch December 1st with a new episode being released every other week.
Created and hosted by RESNA member Sasha Portnova, PhD, the show will focus on discussing the research and innovations aimed at improving the well-being and accessibility for people with disabilities across the world.
A postdoctoral fellow at the University of Washington, Sasha is passionate about the dissemination of the exciting work that has been happening at the forefronts of rehabilitation engineering and assistive technologies. Each episode features an in-depth interview with a researcher working in rehabilitation engineering and assistive technology. The podcast provides a platform to discuss emerging research and offers insight into research and AT careers.
