RESNA, the Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology Society of North America, is partnering with RehabTech Asia to launch a new conference, the RESNA Asia Pacific Conference 2015. The conference is 28 -30 March, 2015 in Singapore. RehabTech Asia will now feature three conferences, namely the Singapore Rehabilitation Conference, NeuroRehabilitation Medicine & Innovation Asia Congress, and the RESNA Asia Pacific Conference. All conferences will take place at the Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre in Singapore. In addition, RESNA will be conducting a two day Fundamentals in Assistive Technology Course in Singapore on 29-30 March, 2015.
RehabTech Asia, an exhibition on assistive technology, integrated care and rehabilitation engineering was first launched in 2013 with strong support from the healthcare industry. The inaugural show concluded with resounding success, with 108 exhibitors and 3,600 delegates and visitors from Asia participating in the exhibition and conferences. The 2015 installment is expected to attract 4000 trade attendees and 150 exhibitors throughout the region.
The RESNA Asia Pacific Conference is jointly organized by RESNA and SingEx Exhibitions. “This will be the first time that RESNA is organizing a RESNA Conference outside of North America; we’re delighted to collaborate with SingEx Exhibitions at RehabTech Asia to offer this learning and networking event in Asia. We recognize the enormous potential in the Asia for assistive technology to improve the health and well-being of people with disabilities throughout this vast and growing region,” said Michael Brogioli, Executive Director of RESNA.

Themed “Technology and Aging”, the RESNA Asia Pacific Conference will showcase internationally-recognized scholars in the areas of assistive technology, rehabilitation, design and disability. RESNA will also host its Fundamentals in Assitive Technology Course on 29-30, March 2015 during the conference.
