RESNA's Research Committee has published "RESNA's Guidelines for Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Research," a "living" document intended for the research community and related stakeholders, including research-related funding agencies, researchers, designers and developers, evidenced-based practitioners and policy-makers. The guidelines were developed through a collaborative process that included input from the RESNA membership, research-related funding agencies, and other researchers in the field.
The RESNA Research Committee fosters the interaction between RESNA and the AT research community. The committee develops RESNA's research guidelines, works with the Assistive Technology Journal board to increase the quality and visibility of assistive technology research, and participates in organizing the research component of the annual conference.
