RESNA is seeking assistive technology training professionals to develop webinar content for assistive technology training, which will support the task analysis content of the ATP exam.
Together with RESNA staff, the AT training professional will develop content related to the assessment of needs, the development of intervention strategies, and the implementation and evaluation of interventions. The plan is to create individual webinars that address these topics in the following areas of assistive technology:
- Seating and Mobility
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Cognitive aids
- Computer access
- Electronic Aids to Daily Living (EADL)
- Sensory
- Recreation
- Environmental modification
- Accessible transportation (public and private)
- Technology for learning disabilities
All webinars will qualify for RESNA CEUs, and will receive full marketing, administrative, and technical support from RESNA.
Qualifications
RESNA is seeking AT professionals that can demonstrate:
- Competency in the content topic
- Experience in planning and/or facilitating an educational webinar
- Knowledge of instructional methods and the learning process
