Workshops
Three additional workshops have been added to the RESNA 2012 Conference Schedule. Two workshops focus on emergency preparedness and assistive technology; one workshop discusses new standards for wheelchairs and transportation.
"Getting Ready: The Role of AT Reuse and Providers in Emergency Preparedness" will review the role of AT reuse and AT providers in preparing consumers and the community for an emergency and/or disaster. The workshop (WS22) is scheduled for Sunday, July 1 at 1pm, and the instructors are Carolyn Phillips, ATP, Pass It On Center - Tools for Life and Jamie Arasz Prioli, ATP, Pennsylvania's Initiative on Assistive Technology at Temple University.
"Are You Ready? Apps for Emergency Preparedness" will examine features of existing apps for IOS and Android related to emergency preparedness for people with disabilities. The workshop (WS42) is offered Monday, July 2 at 2:15pm and is also taught by Jamie Arasz Prioli.
"What's New in RESNA Standards Volume 4: Wheelchairs and Transportation" will discuss these voluntary industry standards, which have been updated and rolled into one new volume. The workshop (WS31) is offered Sunday, July 1 at 4pm and the instructor is Mary Ellen Buning, OTR/L, ATP/SMS, University of Louisville.

Product Demonstrations
Product demonstrations have been scheduled for Sunday, July 1, 2012. Eight companies have scheduled demonstrations for a range of AT products. The companies featured are:
