The University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee's College of Health Science's Certificate in Assistive Technology and Accessible Design has received RESNA's accreditation.
The Certificate in Assistive Technology and Accessible Design (ATAD) follows a model of prerequisite disability and technology basic knowledge, survey of the fields, assessment, intervention and leadership. The ATAD Certificate is a collaborative effort among the College of Health Sciences Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, the Department of Occupational Science and Technology and the UW-Milwaukee School of Education Department of Exceptional Education.
Completion of the Certificate will help you prepare to sit for state and national certification examinations, such as for an Assistive Technology Specialist, Rehabilitation Engineering Technologist and Low Vision Specialist.
