The Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Education Committee on Accreditation (CoA RATE), in conjunction with the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), launched an accreditation program through which academic administrators can demonstrate the quality of their educational program by satisfying the criteria for accreditation.
Recently, the CoA RATE team's conference workshop proposal for RehabWeek 2019 (RESNA 2019) was accepted for presentation.
Join RESNA in Toronto, Canada, June 24-28, and learn more about the CoA RATE Program Accreditation. Established in 2015, this has unique program standards and an application process for programs interested in accreditation. This interactive workshop will explore evidence-based benefits to the accreditation process, provide perspectives from current accredited programs, and provide tips on how to succeed in the accreditation application process while engaging participants in ‘world café’ style discussion tables regarding key accreditation elements: drafting self-study, preparing for site visit, and common concerns and questions.
