The RESNA standards committee on cognitive technologies will meet at the ATIA conference in Orlando, FL on February 1 from 11:30am-1pm in Boca I. This meeting is open to all.
This committee is charged with establishing requirements for the universal design of software, hardware, internet, household, and entertainment products used by people with cognitive impairments.
Agenda:
- Review Greg McGrew's Assistive Technology Product Testing Lab status for cellphone and microwave accessibility
- Discuss how the current draft RESNA CT objective measures align with the World Health Organization's (WHO) International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF)
- Review key criteria that make a product cognitively accessible
