This presentation will illustrate some specific projects where a commercial device was not available to fit the need. AT professionals and makers came together to create a solution. This session is meant to start a conversation on how better to connect AT professionals and makers. There is more interaction happening, but in general these two type of professionals would not typically cross paths. By showing some success stories, I hope to find ways to better make these connections to provide unique solutions to people with disabilities.
