Communities of Practice allow RESNA members to form connections with others based on their primary professional identities, such as therapists, engineers, educators, suppliers and manufacturers. Many AT professionals work in settings where they may be the only rehabilitation engineer, the only physical therapist, the only speech language pathologist, etc., on the team. Communities of Practice are an antidote to that professional isolation. Communities of Practice often serve as information liaisons within their professional organizations. You must be a member to join and can join as many Communities of Practice as they wish.
